Our Policy Advocacy
AEMA takes positions primarily on regulatory and legislative issues where we have clear points of agreement. By working as a group, we are a more powerful voice for distributed energy resource providers and their consumers. We work with state and federal regulators and advocate to Congress and state legislatures to affect change through educating policymakers, publishing white papers, and providing expert testimony.
We regularly provide recommendations to the Administration about national energy policy. We are a voice for consumer choice and opportunities for all consumers to fully participate in competitive markets, both in the wholesale market and at the retail level.
